Tennessee.
Yep, I had a Tennessee adventure this weekend at Eric’s place, along with a collection of fantastic bloggers and others (all of whom know what a blog is). And, I’m now sporting a Big Orange “T” on my guitar case to prove it.
Right now, I’ve got to go make the daily bread.
More later…
… proof, man… you always need proof…
… glad you made the trip, my man… you and Denny were the stars of the show!..
all the best,
Eric

That orange “T” might not have been a wise purchase…now there’s more evidence to tie you to the scene of the crime!
😉
It was great to hang with you, dude!

I’m so glad you all had such a great time. I so wish I could’ve been there.

It was damn good to meet and visit with ya, Jim! I’ve gotta work on my guit-fiddle playing some, but I hope to play with you and Denny sometime.
Soon would be good.

You never did get a ride in my truwk. Maybe next time. You are now my favorite city boy, and will be spending time reading your series of stories….

I was up in Nashville this weekend. The wife and I went to see the Yonder Mountain String Band at the War Memorial Auditorium. I didn’t know young folks were so into bluegrass music these days. Very strange experience, watching these young pot-smoking hippies dancing in the aisles to bluegrass. Maybe there’s some hope for this hip-hop generation yet.

Finally alone….
… well, the last of the bloggers have headed towards home… I fed Harvey and Beloved Wife breakfast before pointing them vaguely in the direction of Nashville and wishing them bon voyage… I’m sure they’ll find their way…. … but…

You’re the best, Jim. That one conversation… man, I cannot quit laughing. What a job that was. You’re a trip.
I hope we see you again. I could have listened to you and Denny for hours. I sure as hell tried to!

Jim,
It was a pleasure meatin’ and talkin’. I hope to do so again sometime soon. I’m glad you found the “Trophy” with a capital T for your case man.
Glad you made it home in time to go out and “do it again”. 😉

It was great meeting you. I’m not sure Sissy and I allowed you all to rest very long before insisting you all sing again, so clearly I enjoyed the music as well.
And the bet is on…”My rat can thrust 5 times”

And although AL GORE came from TENNESEE he lost the voters becuase he supported GUN CONTROL and you never ever want to take away the guns of the residents of a former confederate state
