Dinner with John.
John Cox, the most excellent artist and political cartoonist (formerly the “Cox†half of “Cox and Forkumâ€) and genuine good guy (I met him in Helen last year) is holding an unusual auction. The winner gets dinner with John, choice of an original art work, an art lesson and an original color caricature of your bad self.
Bidding is open to men and women.
Yes, it was most kind of him to capture for commemoration’s sake all of our unsuspecting badselves in various states of intoxication last October. In fact, I look forward to seeing him again so I can personally thank him, a second time, for gifting me with so many superfluous chins. More chins than even I knew what to do with. He needn’t be so generous, really, but, alas, he is just a giving soul at heart. How can you not love the guy?

Man I wish I could do that. It would be so cool! The art lesson would be a total waste on me – but still…
