Hostileman.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jim @ 10:33 pm

I’ve been watching, listening and reading the news, and, because of that, I am very bad company at the moment. I also realize that it is impossible to blog when the monitor is fogged from steam coming out of one’s ears.

It’s not easy to be mellow while watching one’s country being flushed down the crapper.

That is all.

  1. Jim, I find myself being very bad company lately. Everything sets me off. Can’t have anything to do with current events, can it? Nah. How silly of me to even presume such nonsense. Now, just where DID I misplace that scotch………

  2. Jeez, I thought I was the only one feeling this way! I listen to Hannity and Hugh and Ingraham (on the Ipod) on the way home from work…and by the time I get home, I am exhausted and steaming mad! I still can’t believe the friggin’ 1960’s hippies finally got power. I have always hated them! Throwing up my hands!

  3. Arrggh!! The same shitheads that claimed Bush was abusing his powers are now sitting around with their thumbs up their ass, watching this friggin commie grab the whole economy. The worst part for me are the idiot coolaid drinkers out here on the left coast who still insist this is Bush’s fault. I only hope they lose their asses in this meltdown.

The silver lining could be that the country reacts to this the same way they did to Hillary’s health care grab during Bill’s first 2 yrs. I know it seems like a long shot, but it’s probably all we got.

  4. I just hope we can somehow repair all the serious damage these people are doing to our country once The One goes back to the private sector, however many years hence that may be.

Oh wait, there won’t BE a private sector.

  5. A little outrage is a good thing. It concentrates the mind. Narrows the old thought processes. Helps your aim, too…

  6. “A little outrage is a good thing”.

A little outrage? A LITTLE outrage?!? If I could bottle MINE, the energy field would power Rosie O’Donuts’ donut maker for a friggin’ year!!

  7. Hey, it’s Fritag…turn the boob tube off, check the cold stuff, pour a double, kick back and throw darts at the Oneness board. Every time you miss the target, you take another sip.

  8. I’m probably the most outraged person in these parts, but I’ve forced myself to temper it a bit. I use it more as a motivator, as I’m afraid that I’ll become what I hate.
Over the top rage only stifles my processes.

  10. All I can think of is that we have somehow ended up becoming the Wiemar Republic.

And how that ended up so, so well.

Adlai Stevenson said, more or less, “People tend to get the kind of government they deserve.”. I’m very afraid that he was right.
