Fifty Bucks?
A few days ago, I posted links to the record we made in 1966. Today, I received an email from my pal Jerry from Indiana, who found this on e-bay. Yep, someone is selling one of the 45’s. The seller, so far, has gotten a bid of fifty bucks for the thing (check the link before it disappears). Go figure.
I remember, back when I posted this, someone was asking $200.00 for one of the records. I wonder if it’s the same person.
No, I am not the seller, nor am I the bidder. Hell, if I rummaged around a bit in my basement, I probably could put my hands on a half dozen of these babies in never-played condition. I figure I’ll wait until the price soars into the thousands, then I’ll go for the big score.
In the meantime, I’ll happily sing you the shit live for a bottle of decent bourbon.
DEAL!
Next time you make a trip out here to the west coast, let me know……I’ll bring the bourbon. You bring your voice!
😉

Get in touch with the seller. Offer to autograph it in an effort to increase the price/value, for 10% of the take.

I just checked the link — it sold for $62.99.

$62.99? Wow! I think I need to unload my 45 collection.

I get to be a groupie when you embark on your reunion tour. Okay, semi-groupie… I don’t have it nearly as together as I used to. Ungrouped and ungroped. That works for me.

I need to get in on the ground floor of this. I plan to buy up all the mezzanine seats for the reunion tour-then scalp ’em for big bucks$$!!

Wow, who knew that a 45 from our own Jimbo would be worth more than a share of GM stock? Good on ya, Jimbo.

Just one question; The singing will be BEFORE the drinking of the bourbon, right?
