  2. The Things I Remember That My Aunt Margaret Liked

SKILLO- A bingo-like boardwalk game. Air conditioning.
    Taylor Ham
The Daily Double at Monmouth Park- Even kids can send one in.
Crabs – Anytime, Anywhere. Newspapers on the table.
    Storytelling- Always good, funny stories
Double Hot dogs- Big Nick’s (Kearny) Sue’s (Newark)
    Singing Irish songs with Granny
Being the only person who could straighten out Uncle Billy

We were blessed to have her.
What would we give to have one more bungalo night in Seaside Heights with cards, crabs and beer with her, Uncle Andy, Uncle Bill and Aunt Eleanor and Michael, my father and mother,Timmy , Kerin, you and me, Annie and Jackie. Loud laughter, a full house and crab nets in the lagoon ?

    Happy Mothers Day

  4. Thanks, Gary. Great memories, all of them.

And, yes. My mother liked crabs, but not half as much as Gary’s dad. He’d get positively giddy at the mere mention of them.
