Saturday Escape.
Heading down to the Jersey Shore (a/k/a “goin’ downa shore”) for a b’day party. If I’m lucky, I’ll avoid all exposure to the news today, which is a good thing, as my blood pressure needs a break.

Took care of that this week. Cable bill arrived. Didn’t like Basic-2 Cable hike of $6 w/ no warning. Called and had them install Basic-1 only. Local channels, 2 PBS ch.’s, A&E, AMC, History, TBS, Lifetime, CMT, Nick couple other junk channels like VH-1 and shopping crap. New cable bill: $14/month. Money, time and sanity saved.
