Infamy …
Each year I ask myself how many people today under 20, or under 30 for that matter, know the significance of December 7, 1941, and each year I become more depressed thinking about the answer to that question.

Our Navy is shrinking thanks to Obama. Will we be down to 250 ships in the near future? Stay tuned.

Cutting our Navy, or any branch for that matter, is just plain stupid. We’re sailing in troubled waters. My father was a Captain in the Navy during WWII, served in the Pacific, and had a good friend who was stationed on Pearl Harbor on 12/7/41. Him and my father remained close friends for the rest of their lives. His buddy told me some stories about that day, and the days after, when I was a young man. He was in the middle of the attack. I say a prayer every year on DEC 7.
