Disgraceful.
So, five American soldiers will be officially reprimanded and possibly lose rank because of the accidental burning of the Korans. The reprimand will remain in their service records, and the loss of rank will mean a loss of pay and possibly other privileges, all in the name of appeasing the Seventh Century Savages and their “Religion of Peace.”
The One is letting this happen. He sickens me.
Why would anyone enlist in the military while it is under the control of this asshole?
I think they should place an asterisk in the record which states that the reprimand was given when a skinny ,groveling , narcissistic piece of shit was in charge so the reprimand is a joke. What idiots still are supporting this shitbag?

Conceivably, if the ragheads push it strongly enough, Barry will fly over there and blow them, so eager he seems to want to please those thugs.

I guess we should not hold our collective breath waiting for Hamid Karzai to offer an apology back to us for the Afghans who have killed U.S. personnel.
Just for the sake of comparison, here in my ‘hood we have recently been bombarded with numerous acts of anti-Semitic vandalism and, I think think the most aggressive action that was taken in response was a whole bunch of politicians — many of them not even Jewish (in fact, I think the non-Jews actually outnumbered the Jews) — marching arm in arm along Ocean Parkway decrying the hatred. Oh, and they’ve written some press releases and stuff.
For such bloodthirsty terrorists, they sure are sensitive. If Gingrich was POTUS, that entire country’s band of bearded, shmatte-wearing schmucks would be down on their knees begging for our forgiveness because we’d blast their entire bloodlines from here to eternity.

Erica, you are correct. Can you imagine someone who would behead a living human being, someone so lacking in basic human values or emotions, getting upset over the (accidental or not) burning of a freakin’ book? Made of paper? These people are animals, plain and simple.

Yup – back to the Carter-era military. No morale, no capability. If there’s one thing these lefties understand, it’s how to totally screw up (not my first choice of words) anything good, or that works.
Does anyone really think the majority of voters will forget this kind of crap by election day? Stay mad, stay focused. Your country needs the heat of your wrath.

H said that if he was a newbie in the military at this particular point in time, he’d never reenlist. This from a guy who told me the only thing he wanted to be, growing up, was a military man.
Seventh Century Savages is an excellent description.

Just a thought that occurred to me. I read somewhere a couple of years ago that a significant amount of lower-income, minority Americans — those whose parents / relatives / friends may have had a predilection for voting for The One — are the individuals who are joining the military in large numbers, because it’s a way out of the ghetto and is a practical way of funding their college education. So, while I certainly wouldn’t want to serve our country according to the errant whims of this current Commander-in-Chief, I could certainly see how some misguided youngsters would. It’s such a sad commentary. I remember in “Anchors Aweigh” (1945) how tenacious the very young Dean Stockwell was, how he idolized Gene Kelly and wanted nothing more than to join the Navy. Now Americans hate America because it’s considered “cool.” I can’t make sense of any of it.

Not surprised at all, Obama hates the military, there is ample evidence since his first day in office. On the opposite side the real military leadership has no use for Obama and his band of thieves. All the real senio military leadership has been fired or forced to retire. Obama has taken the military back to the post Viet-nam era.

Reprimanded & possibly lose rank? …..I think the big Court Marshal coming up this November , the supreme commander will be relieved of all duties, lose rank & receive a dishonorable discharge. Too bad Leavenworth is not in his immediate future.I would love to see the incoming POTUS reverse any disciplinary actions taken against our troops.
