Been Happily Busy.
Yeah, I know. Mr. Blog has been neglected for a bit. The reason is that we, at the House by the Parkway, have been hosting two most excellent young ladies bonnie lassies from Scotland. They are close to the end of their ten-month odyssey, which has included places like Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Bangkok, and much of the U.S. They had spent some quality time with Eric and Mrs. Swg, then they did Washington, D.C. and Atlantic City before coming to the House by the Parkway.
Quite simply, it was wayyy more fun hanging with the two of them (one of whom was quite the guitar player), drinking beer, face-stuffing and watching the “telly,” than were any thoughts of blogging. Their being here also kept me away from the news, except for the horror in Colorado and the predictable “Ban all guns” baloney. However; even with only a paltry bit of news, I’m quite certain that Obama is still a piece of shit.
I look forward to someday seeing our new Scottish friends again, either here or there.
…. they grow on you, sir…… and like us, you will miss them once they are gone…… they truly are two wonderful young ladies……..
… that said, YOU need to come with us on our next visit to Scotland……. word, man…. make it happen…..

Hi, Jimbo. I thought you must have been busy – considering the lack of posting over the past 10 days. Much has been happening! How about that prick who decided to have a shooting spree here in Colorado? SOB. And, then there’s the odious comment that the POS in Chief stated…something about all the businesses we have built in America…and how we didn’t do that ourselves. Funny. I’m currently creating a business and I do believe I have been doing it all myself. Anyhow, he’s a cretin and why any asshole would bother listening to what he has to say – let alone put him in the White House for another 4 years – is absolutely beyond me. Jeez, I feel like I’m stuck in the 1970s all over again – only without Ronald Reagan on the horizon.

Yes Barry is a piece of shit.Recently he gave a speech saying his system works and the opposition’s doesn’t .He pointed to the auto bailout where he threw 30 million to rescue the unions and trampled on the rights of creditors who had priority .The money has not been paid back .That’s what the asshole cites as a success .

I’m only sorry that the Missus and I did not get to meet the lasses in question, owing to our travel schedule over the past several weeks… but it sounds as though you had matters well in hand and were able to entertain them in rare style.
