It is doomed. I can deal with the fact that my neighbors have relegated me to “hopeless right wing wacko/gun freak” status beacuse I own guns and (gasp!) voted for Bush (not my guy, but he was the least worst choice). I can deal with the pervasive and open corruption. I can even deal with the profligacy of the local and state government apparatchiks who line their pockets and raise my property taxes 47% (read that again: 47%) in one year. And still cry that they need more. What I can’t fathom is that I am automatically labelled a racist hatemongerer if I call McGreevey what he is: a craven, lying thieving, bottomless parasite. Who cares if he’s gay? He is fundamentally unfit to be trusted with the public’s money, trust or governance.
I assume you are referring to Sluggo’s comment at Enlighten New Jersey. I also assume that by the “ha ha” that you know that Sluggo was not being serious. Sluggo is anything but a fan of the former Gov.
What’s so progressive about being willing to vote for a politician that was probably the most corrupt in the history of the state.???????

I guess that depends. If you are using the dictionary definition of “progressive” it IS crazy.
If however you are using the Political definition it fits very well!
Yep and it’s all because of morons like “Sluggo”
