Red Bull Energy Drink.
Have you ever tasted Red Bull Energy Drink? I have.
On the long drive back from Tennessee, I decided that an energy boost would be a good idea, so I bought a can of the stuff, popped the top and took a long swallow.
Let me say that, in my life, I have been fortunate enough to never to have had to drink piss to try to stay alive (nor do I find the argument that pee drinking can be therapeutic to be at all convincing).
As such, I don’t know how piss tastes, but my single swallow of Red Bull Energy Drink (which ‘is farookin’ yellow), provided me with what I imagine to be a pretty good sense of how the genuine kidney-spawned fluid would work on one’s palate.
I cannot tell you whether drinking the entire can would have provided the promised energy boost, because I didn’t want the boost bad enough to drink a can of piss-tasting stuff.
I will happily leave Red Bull Energy Drink to the afficionados of urolagnia.
Maybe this is why folks mix it with stuff, it hides the piss taste?

… which reminds me of a story … A few years ago, my bartender served me a surprise drink, “all the rage” she called it, aptly named “Hype.”
It was vodka mixed with some energy drink … duuuuuuuude, I lost like 12 hours …
When I finally woke up with a killa headache you shouldn’t know from, I had no recollection of how the night ended, who I was with, how I got home, but was blessedly still wearing my clothes, and in my own bed.

I’ve never tried it and thanks to your fine review, I probably never will. If I want caffeine, I’ll continue to consume mass quantities of coffee.

I love this stuff! I keep it in my fridge. It’s great with Vodka or to just wake you up on a long trip. It is a bit sweet so you have to acquire the taste a bit. I don’t drink coffee so this does it’s job when I need to stay awake.
Oh, and it’s a staple for Sissy- she drinks it in the morning.

Yes, I too partake in the occasional Red Bull. I prefer sugar free. And it’s great with Vodka, or Vodka and Cranberry Juice.
I don’t drink it so much in the mornings as I used to, but if I’m drinking vodka, or if I’m in a meeting, I’m drinking red bull.

Oh, and if you don’t like the taste of red bull (which is an acquired taste), 180 or Amp’d are better tasting. More like OJ.

I’m not a piss person per say, but while working at a preschool it does come in handy. To attempt to get 28 three year olds to sleep with lullaby music and stay conscious, slamming a Red Bull can do the trick. I’m thinking about giving it out to trick or treater’s just to liv’in up the neighborhood, what da ya think? Q

ly tend to run on when I’ve had too much although I can’t say that I’ve tried Red Bull, exactly, Jim. As you know, my energy drink of choice is espresso. Espresssssssso. Yesss-OHYESOHYESindeedy. Caffeine for the needy. Mmm-hmm. I usually limit myself to that one big latte in the AY-EM but sometimes there’s that Diet Coke at lunch. BIG. DIET. COKE. I do like my caffeina

Try Coke Blak – it tastes kinda like a carbonated kaluha, and really does the trick.

Mix vodka with this vile stuff? Criminal waste of vodka, that is.

When I was in Brazil a couple of years ago I noticed that it was the most popular soft drink around. I decided to give it a try. You are absolutely right. Yuck is just for starters! I will stick to espresso myself.
