Ahhhhhh-CHOOO!
You know? I was just telling someone the other day (while knocking on wood) that I had managed to avoid catching a cold so far this winter.
Maybe it was fake wood I knocked on.
Damn.

I think it is a hidden principle in the way the universe works. Of course, God can read your mind… so… there doesn’t seem to be anyway to avoid this.
Job 3:25 For the thing that I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me.

It’s been suggested to me (I cannot remember by whom) that tea, lemon and a generous slug of Myer’s dark rum is a fine panacea.
Feel better, bro. Colds blow.

Cold-Eez. I swear by the stuff for shortening colds and lessening symptoms. Leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, but the dark rum can fix that. Feel better soon.

generous proportions of single malt, taken with favorite robe and slippers in the company of Mr. Recliner; good book, movie or the Sunday Ledger at your option…
feel better, pal.

Sufficient quantities of alcohol resolves the problem. Doesn’t cure the cold, you just don’t care that you have it.

Damn, sure do hate to hear you’re under the weather. Lots of fluids, and anything that makes you feel better. Oh, and plenty-o-rest.
Feel better soon Dude…..
