Out of the Boxes!
A while back, I mentioned that I had purchased a kickass computer and lots of other fancy schmancy stuff to hook up to it. All that equipment has been sitting in boxes about six feet to the left of me waiting to be unpacked and unleashed to replace this steam-driven unit I’ve been working with forever.
I buddy of mine, who is an IT mavin, had graciously volunteered to set it all up for me (and thereby preventing my having a nervous breakdown), but the date had to be postponed.
This is to let y’all know that we have rescheduled, and that sometime within the next 24-48 hours, I should be piloting high tech, nuclear powered gadgetry from the House by the Parkway. Of course, what this really means is that I could just as likely fall off the Blogosphere while I figure out how to operate all the complex bells and whistles on the new stuff.
Keep your fingers crossed.
… I bet you even have a camera now…. you’ll be doing “Livecasts”!…

SWEEEEET! This is so exciting! So wait, a camera? Like, as in a videoteleconferencing (or, the much cooler word that …Eric… used, “Livecasts”) kind of camera? As in an actual “Jimbo, Live!” blogging from Mr. Recliner kind of camera?
OMG, you are so going to live on this thing and never leave the house again (I know I would).

Live (or alive) farookin’ hair shots?? Nice. Also want to see some live action bartending. Even if it’s hands on the bottles only. 😉

This is going to be a momentous day in blog history.

So now you’ll be able to crash your blog site with even greater speed.
Congratulations, Jimbo!

Hope it’s still working…!

Um… dogette – I think they’d want Mr. Recliner as an exhibit rather than the old one lung computer. After all Mr. Recliner is famous! But then poor Jimbo wouldn’t be able to rest his weary stindeens not to mention that head full of farookin’ great hair. That would be tragic. *grin*
Can’t wait to hear all about the new toy! I love new computers they are so much fun. Woo Hoo!
