Unbelievable! Thanks for the link. The comments almost slayed me, too.
Funny thing, my family name comes from the Lippizan trainers from way back.

There’s an old book written by Mary Stewart called Airs Above the Ground. Definitely written in the 60’s and definitely British, but after reading it, the one thing I have always wanted to see was the Lippizan stallions performing. This might be pretty close. *grin*

I was lucky enough to see these magnificent horses perform in Vienna.

Wow.
I *love* the debonair British commentators, too (“Whut-tuh-puh-foe-munce”), although I admit to having trouble not thinking of the commentators (the boorish American Buck Laughlin and classy British cohort Trevor Beckwith) in the movie “Best In Show.” If you know what I mean:
Buck Laughlin: I don’t think I could ever get used to being poked and prodded like that. I told my proctologist one time, “Why don’t you take me out to dinner and a movie sometime?”
Trevor Beckwith: Yes, I remember you said that last year.
Buck Laughlin: I went to one of those obedience places once… it was all going well until they spilled hot candle wax on my private parts.
Oops I seem to have drifted way the hell off-topic again.

Thanks for the link. Must get the daughter to watch, unless she already has. The truly amazing thing about this is the communication between horse and rider that occurs without the blind eye being able to notice. This is not just a horse repeating a dance drilled into her, but instead, the rider telling her every move to make, when to make it, and where it belongs, simply wonderful to watch.

Many, many hours go into watching tapes of the horse’s routine and then choreographing the music to the performance. Doesn’t make it any less spectacular, though; I cry every time I see that video!

WOW!!!! That horse was amazing. I can’t even imagine what goes into training a horse to do such a thing.
The way the horse’s tail was whipping around, you’d could tell it was having some fun.

Yes, the horse is having fun. They are obviously valued and respected animals.
Perhaps you could combine your flair for writing about the ignorance of the leadership on the left and how they might train Lippazan stallions. It would surely be one to remember, NO DOUBT.
Fred Thompson is by far the gentleman for the position.
He spends very little to no time on trivial put downs.
