One More Irish Thing.
I must confess that the politics and politicians of the day have drained me of my energy. I don’t think I need to explain.
With that in mind, I thought I would post something that I have enjoyed watching multiple times. It doesn’t speak of race, gender or enthnicity, but rather it screams of talent, honed to a fine edge by hard work, dedication and discipline.
Enjoy.

St. Patrick’s Day is one of those holidays that I wished spanned two days (or more) myself. Why not, instead of St. Patrick’s Day, St. Patrick’s Week?
The world just needs to be more Irish; it would be a much better place. We can start in the local pubs. Where I come from, they’re either sports bars filled with neighborhood douchebags, or Ruskiy places. They suck.
It would be nice to walk into a pub, instead of the usual technobrainless crud that makes brain matter ooze out of my hears, to hear the Clancy Brothers, The Pogues, or The Chieftans instead. It sets a nice ambiance, I think.
And it shouldn’t just be Irish Spring, but Irish Spring, Winter, Summer and Fall…Irish O’Clock, and oh, what’s today’s date? Irishuary 18? Irishember 18? Two thousand Irish eight?
Youse all have the cutest little smiles, and twinkliest eyes, and the sweetest little pink cheeks. Yep, more Irish…that’s what the world definitely needs.

Been to see Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. Had great seats at both and it was some of the best entertainment and music you could ask for.

The Irish part of me wanted to get up and dance with them… the German part said “don’t be an idiot”… LOL.

Not bad but GOC in Atlanta has a clip where more Irish get up & dance to celebrate discovering Africa. What do you think Jim…..By the way my Grandmothers maiden name was Cavanaugh.

Jim – Lord of the Dance (with similar good stuff) is at Sovereign Bank Arena on Saturday, May 3. I got 4 tickets yesterday, great seats. If you’ve never been, it’s a very easy stadium to get in/out of.

I saw a bull fighter without a red cape and a bull.
I could feel the rhythm and all but I guess ‘Neck’s just don’t get it. He dances well, but that shirt’s gotta go. Poor fella looks like he lost his jacket at the high school prom.
