Earth Day.
I love the planet, and I go out of my way not to shit the place up. Still, when it comes to Algore and his Hollywood version of science, I remain a steadfast Denier. The reasons are legion, but here are a couple, seeing as how it’s Oit Day and all.
Algore says that manmade CO2 is responsible for global warming. As proof of this, his bullshit propaganda film movie shows dramatic images of the ice cap falling away in massive chunks.
For openers, CO2 continues to rise, while temperatures continue to fall. Definitely, an inconvenient truth, that. In addition, it turns out that 90% of the ice on the planet is in Antarctica, and the ice in Antarctica is thickening, rather than falling away in giant chunks. Speaking of the ice cap falling away in giant chunks, the dramatic images in Al’s movie purporting to show that were computer generated images. Yet another inconvenient truth.
I respect the earth, but Algore and his media/Hollywood minions can kiss my ass.
Happy Oit Day.
oh, he can soooo kiss my science teacher ass whilst he’s at it!

Water vapor is a bigger culprit for alleged global warming than CO2, regardless of what Blessed Albertus the Incontinent Goracle says.

Where can I get some of that Antarctican ice. That crap I get at the quickie mart must come from from the place that’s meltin’ ’cause I have to replace cooler fulls on weekend fishin’ runs.
Got any good sensimellia while you’re in there lookin’ for good ice on earth day?
What about cow farts? I thought that was the big deal now. Peta ain’t gonna be left out of this one. What we supposed to do, raise cigarette taxes and use ’em to cork cow buts now?

I am going to start campaigning for global warming. So far they have given me no compelling reason to be against it.
Warmer winters… okay I’m all for it! Low heating bills are in my future – think of the oil savings!
Higher sea level… if this makes my house into beachfront property… dude bring on the sand and sun!
Sheesh. These people have been at this crap since I was a kid. I walked in the first “Walk for Mankind” waaaaayyyyy back when – and they managed to make me buy into it for one single year – I think I was 10 years old. After that I figured out the scam.
Why do people who are all grown up and should know better – fall for this charlatan?

Latest headline on Fox: Earth heading for small Ice Age….supposedly as a result of a natural cyclical decline in sunspot activity.
Me, I blame the AlGoreBot.

Maybe the ice caps are melting because they cannot withstand the constant stream of hot air coming out of Al Gore’s mouth.

That is not the only thing Algore fudged in the film I like to call “Convenient Lies”
There is a portion with a graph of temperature and CO2 variations and he jokes
“do you think these two graphs could fit together?”
And they do almost a perfect match, he left out one little detail
The CO2 graph LAGS the Temperature graph by about 800 years.
Now where I come from the CAUSE of an Event does not FOLLOW the Effect

A friend of mine, who watches a lot of movies, told me, “My son says that I really need to watch ‘An Inconvenient Truth'”. His son is 21.
I replied, “That would be the son you just bailed out of jail for shooting at someone?”
There’s Gore’s target (no pun intended) audience.

If anyone asks you to watch Gore’s film? Set them up by asking them what they think of the quality of BBC Documentaries and if they take the bait?
Say you wil watch Gore’s Film if they watch a BBC Documentary titled
The Great Global Warming Swindle

Despite having grown up in the beautiful Garden State, I now reside in Western NY, just outside of Rochester. A few (OK, 20,000 or so ) years ago, this area was covered by an ice sheet literally a mile thick. Yet, all this melted without the benefit of man-made CO2. My question is, how exactly can this be blamed on America, and more specifically, GWB ?
On the plus side, we’ve just had one of the most wonderful Springs in recent memory, so if this is due to us evil Americans and our evil capitalism, well, “Bring it on !”
We’ve also had a slightly higher than average total for winter snowfall this past anomalous non-warming season, though we lost the Golden Snowball Trophy to Syracuse (as usual). Just one more inconvenient truth.
