I saw Hayes Carll in Indy about a year ago when he opened for Robert Earl Keen. He sang this song that night. I ended up buying his CD after listening to his set. He is also very funny between songs…very deadpan delivery. My friend Nora & I spoke to him briefly and he seems like a real down to earth guy. Nora writes a music column in Indianapolis.
