Dear Non-Taxpayers…
Dear Non-Taxpayers:
If you are among the approximately 40% of Americans who don’t pay federal income tax, perhaps you have heard that Barack Obama has promised a “tax cut†for 95% of all Americans. Perhaps you have also heard or read that the “tax cut†for you who pay no tax will in the form of a check mailed to you. The amount I have heard is $500.00.
He is going to tax businesses and “the rich†to pay for this.
The only thing you have to do is elect Barack Obama president, and the government will send you your $500.00 check after the election.
Sounds sweet, right? Free money, right?
Consider this:
YOU will end up paying the tax by having to spend more on the goods and services sold by those businesses when they raise their prices in order to cover their increased tax burden.
If your employer is one of those businesses, and competition is such that your employer cannot raise his prices for his goods or services, he may well have to lay you off in order to cover his increased tax burden.
Nothing is free.
Please think about that before you sell your vote for $500.00.
Very truly yours,
Jimbo
I knew that. Learned it from Hoosierboy, in fact. Because of the dipshits who would sell their vote quicker than Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of lentil soup, we’re all going to have to barf up $30 for a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk.
Assholes.

Simple stating of facts like you have done will only confuse the BO voters. And who doesn’t like lentil soup?

Jimbo, why do you waste your breath electrons on stating the obvious for the benefit of the oblivious?

People are truly surprised by this. My husband had a salesman come into his office a month or so ago. Said salesman is voting for Obama. My husband plays his cards close, being a business owner, he never wants to offend his clients, and he just kept them close… until this guy kept going on and finally my husband said something like, “If Obama gets in, and raises my taxes as a business owner, ONE of my employees is going and I have them already picked out. You think I’m going to be the only one who suffers? NO. I’ll have a lay off. Watch me.”
This guy was STUNNED. He kept saying, “You’re going to get rid of an employee if Obama gets in? You already have them picked out?”
My husband was suprised that someone in any type of business would be so surprised that there would be a trickle down effect.

And didn’t all the non-payers just already get big checks? Like as much as $1500? It seems to have stimulated us all right.

Jim I put a post up about the Howard Stern Effect (polar opposite of the Bradley Effect) and have a jpeg from a Wall Street Journal article that shows the difference between the present Tax Plan and the Obama Tax Plan on effective marginal tax rates I called it
A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words
from the picture it looks to me that EVERYONE except 85k to about 100k gets the shaft.

Listen to all of you greedy meanines!!!! You mean to tell me you won’t pay a lousy $500 to have The One bestow blessings of upper crust largesse upon you????
The One is going to use his Goodness to ensure that those who prostrate themselves before him with gifts of $500 votes will reap bounties of The One’s blessings.
The One said it himself…he is going to change the world…or leave the world with change after his tax plans…oh, either way, The One loves us and is going to bestow his Goodness upon us and it will only cost us $500 each…….whatta bargain!!!!
