Slippin’ and Slidin’.
I used to be a Marauding Marsupial in the TTLB Blogosphere Ecosystem until I switched over to this spiffy new site (thanks to the patience and generosity of mtpolitics). However, now I am sliding straight down the fall line of the Ecosystem. This is because I have tried a couple times to get the new, spiffy, Movable Type site to take the place of the BlogSpot site in the Ecosystem, but it hasn’t happened yet.
I have plunged through the world of rodents and I am now passing through Flappy Bird-dom. Before long, I will be ranked about at the level of outhouse bacteria.
Note: Do you realize how completely unintelligible the foregoing would be to a non-blogger?
Another Note: Know what? It even sounds pretty stoooopid to me. All my problems should be this small.
..is it because the people who had you linked haven’t changed their links?..

In some cases that is true, but the big problem is that TTLB has not replaced the old site with the new site. It is still counting only links to the BlogSpot site, which are evaporating with time. Even if TTLB were to register this site, I would not be back to where I was prior to the switchover, but I would not be down where I am now.
Having said that, I don’t believe that I will be losing sleep over it. It will sort itself out eventually.

I noticed you were down in the muck with us flappy lizards and wondered why, too. Something is definitely messed up with the tally.

Heck, I can remember the day when you were first among even the Higher Beings!

Psst…James! Do what all the cool kids do–register this url as a new blog!! You don’t even have to change the name. Then, all links pointing here will show up!

I had a similar problem when I switched off BlogSpot…I couldn’t get the Ecosystem to read my new domain properly. Frustrated, I e-mailed TTLB, and he kindly fixed me right up. Very nice fella.

Tiger Bites™ is a listing of links to those posts I found during the day that I thought were excellent, either passin’ along some important information, displayin’ great insight into some topic, bein’ of special interest, or just a bit…

I think you finally got it right with “Another Note”

Jim:
An occasional visitor, which is why this is so long after the fact. It’s a minor flurb in the grand scheme of your traffic pattern, I’m sure, but you’re own cookie at other sites (LeeAnn’s for one, and therefore most of Munuviana) is still pointing to the old Blogsnot site!
Ya gotta start putting your ‘new’ address in the comments boxes!

Paul,
I just went over there to take a look. On my screen the URL shows that this site. Go figure. Yet another amazing techno mystery.
