Jawja Blogtoberfest Update.
Here’s where things stand.
Airline tickets? Check
Rental Car? Check**
Toughen guitar fingers? In progress
New guitar strings? Later (I prefer Martin light gauge)
German? Ich bin bereits.
Grits? Gearing up for the experience
Half-rubber? WTF??
I will be joined by one of the Usual Suspects, Ken, the anal-retentive Deckmaster, Air Force Vet, party guy, and great friend.
** Used Priceline.com and bid $20.00 per day for a “full sized†car, and the bid was accepted.
…well, at least the guitar world will be well represented… a Gibson… a Fender.. and, a Martin… quite a crew…. let us hope we do them justice, kemosabee….

WTF is half-rubber? You’ll find out. I’m going to strike your yankee ass out, then buy you a beer while I gloat.

Beats me. I suggested elsewhere that it sounds like a contraceptive device for guys with little sharonas.

James, is the Jawja Blog fest open only to bloggers?
Comment by Bill — September 7, 2004 @ 10:29 pm
Bill,
I believe that Bloggers, Blog readers, and friends of bloggers are all invited. One of my buddies (a non-blogger) is coming.

Half rubber is a game using a broomstick for a bat and a rubber ball cut in half. See gutrumbles dot com for a thorough explanation.
